According to a report by Campus Portal, Miss Idongesit
Eseneyen has emerged the youngest best graduating medical student in her
department. Sources said, Dr. (Miss) Ido was admitted into the University of
Uyo at the age of 15 years to study medicine, and she worked very hard to
emerge the best graduating medical student in her department.
Dr. Ido disclosed that she was inspired to excellence by her
mum who is a nurse. She stated this while speaking at the institution’s
Sponsio Academica/Physician Oath taking ceremony of the graduating medical students
held on 13th June.
She explained that seeing her mum help people everyday in
the hospital made her wants to be a doctor so she worked towards achieving her
set goals.
