In a recent interview with media
personalities of Nigeria Info FM, Lagos, former Super Eagles captain Jay
Jay Okocha while answering questions from social media fans explained
why his children are not into professional football inspite of him
been a football icon. He also spoke about his involvement with Star Football.
Read him: "My son is focusing on his education
for now and will play football at the right time. Meanwhile, my daughter will
never play professional football because they aren’t paid well enough.”
One would have expected that every children of this former Bolton Wanderers
midfielder; would be actively involved in professional football but with the
tune of things, we may not likely see his daughter(s) on that famous and prestigious
green and white jersey.
