Mavin First Lady Tiwa
Savage won the award for the ‘Best Female Act’ at the MTV
Africa Music Awards held on Saturday 7th June at the International
Convention Centre, Durban.
To emerge the winner
of this prestigious award, doroTiwa beats Nigeria’s songstress Chidinma
and Ghana’s Singer Efya. The Eminado coroner who dropped her premier
album “Once Upon A Time’ last year, found herself in the mucky waters
of controversy after releasing a ‘racy’ music video from the album.
In her words after
picking up the award, Tiwa Savage said:
