This particular report is according to Globo, I’m yet to verify its authenticity; but you can
read, it may not be very far from the truth. They are reporting that after
Brazil’s humiliating fourth place finish at the just concluded World Cup, the
Brazil football federation has announced that the contract of their national
team coach Felipe Scolari would not be renewed.
It may
not be unconnected with Brazil’s 7-1, defeat to World champions Germany and 3-0
third place lost to Holland.
Luiz Felipe Scolari was quoted as saying thus: “We didn’t have great performances but we were
reaching our goals. We still finished in the top four. I don’t think we can’t
criticize the national team…My life goes on regardless.”BN was the first to report this News
