The former head coach of the
Nigerian Super Eagles Stephen Keshi has finally opened up for the first time
following his dismissal by the NFF on Wednesday.
NTA news twitter handle reports that
Keshi spoke thus:
“It’s
about time for me to move on, my dear. This is not the end of the world for me”....continue
Keshi who was sometime in the
past ranked 14th best coach in the world and number in Africa, was
fired following the abysmal performance of the Nigeria Super Eagles in the
on-going Africa Nation Cup Qualifies.
Even though Keshi led the Super
Eagles to victory at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and a second round finish
at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil after becoming the senior national team coach
in 2012, he was still fired because it is fast becoming a tradition in modern
football that coaches must be sacked if the teams perform poorly....examples of
Chelsea and their likes…Lol! Just kidding!
