Finally, International Singer Draka Explains Why He Jumped on Wizkid’s Ojuelegba Remix

Recently, top singer Draka remixed that interesting song Ojuelegba by former EME Star boy Wizkid and it became an instant hit in the international music scene catching the attention of stars like: Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Kylie Jenner, Rita Ora and lots more.

So, in a recent interview with FADER Magazine, ‘Baba’ Drake explained why he featured on the remix. When asked if it was pushed by his desire to become a truly global star, he replied

“I just did it because I was in the moment,” he says. “I wasn’t thinking like, ‘Oh man, I gotta get my brand up in Nigeria”. (He hastens to add, with classic Drake politeness, “Not to say that’s not important. I’m super-honored to be on that song).
