Tell
us more about your self
I’m from a relatively
large family, the third born from my mother and four brothers after me. I was
born in Lagos and moved to the US shortly after as my parents were diplomats. Ever
since, I’ve moved from one country to another for school and I have loved every
bit of it
What
is your Educational background?
I started Elementary
school in the United States and completed my primary education in Lagos. I then
went to school in Togo, then Canada and finally the U.S for both my
undergraduate degree in Economics and then my Masters in Public Policy.
Tell
us more about organic skin care fix
Organic lifestyle has
become very popular over the last decade around the world as people are
becoming increasingly aware of the harmful chemicals and toxins in our daily
household and food products. Mint Organic Care is a chemical and paraben free
bath and body product line that uses the purest and finest ingredients from
around the world in formulating its products.
Why
did you decide to go into organic skin care?
I decided to do so because
of my extremely sensitive skin, which reacts to most products that are not
organic. Furthermore, as I started, people are becoming more aware of what they
put into and onto their bodies, so there is a growing demand for organic
certified products
What
is your source of product?
All our products are
sourced from pure plants extracts, oils and butters.
With
your knowledge about organic products, what are the benefits of organic
products to the skin?
Organic skincare
products allow for easy processing of the nutrients into the skin. They also
protect from harmful chemicals and synthetic preservatives that lead to various
chronic skin and health calamites. Not only do organic products smell
wonderful, the skin fully benefits from the natural therapeutic and healing
properties for the plants.
What
age group does the product target?
Our products are not
age nor gender specific as we have products for babies, older matured skin and
everything in between.
Where
do you see your brand in the next five years?
I see my brand
constantly growing and involving with outlets in other West African countries
in addition to global shipping. Our next phase is to head into Aromatherapy,
and afterwards Hair Care. Most of all, we enjoy creating and packaging gift
items for events, so I definitely hope to expand in that arena.
What
Principles/Motto do you live by?
“If you’re going to
do anything, do it well to the best of your ability, or not at all”
What
are your hobbies?
My hobbies include Pilates,
reading and soap making!
