Read What the Supreme Court Said Concerning its Reasons for Upholding Nyesom Wike’s Election as Rivers Governor

Word on the street now is that the Supreme Court has upheld the election of Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party as governor of Rivers State. The apex court validated the April 11 governorship election today but did not provide reasons for its judgment.

The court said it would provide detailed reasons for the verdict on February 12.

Meanwhile, there is great jubilations going on in Port Harcourt today following the supreme court verdict.
