If utterances are a measure of political maturity, then its safe to say that APC is peopled by immature politicians. From the disgruntled Odigie Oyegun who attacked the judiciary for its radical judgement that halted APC's encroachment into the Niger Delta, to the loquacious Rotimi Amechi, APC is never short of word mongers.
It is bad enough that the Nigerians are grappling to remain sane with the ceaseless propaganda of Lai Mohammed, to now have a loose lipped President whose utterances at every turn scandalizes us, makes it 'double wahala' for us.
If Baba is not complaining about the rape of our Commonwealth, he is bemoaning his old age. Baba continues to arm his critics daily with ammunition to attack him from all sides. When he was donning tailor made suit and forming Obama, didn't he know oil price was already falling? Now he is crying about the same oil price he ignorantly said he will stabilize.
The most unfortunate and by far the most stupid remark ever credited to any Nigerian President is his admittance that Nigerians have image problem. Baba stopped short of calling Nigerians criminals and in a foreign land. How he expects his foreign audience to come invest in our country after such negative publicity, baffles me.
Baba should not be talking again, if he must, then it should be from a prepared speech. Worse still, Baba is surrounded by people who are either too afraid to tell him his faults or too blinded by hero worshipping to see that the President's gaffes are becoming too embarrassing.
Baba is showing with his utterances that he is incapacitated both by age, reasoning and knowledge, as to how to wriggle this nation out of our many problems. Baba should talk less and do more! We elected him to help us correct the ills of the past not to remind of us them.
