What I don’t
understand is why some ‘mofons’ have come to a hasty conclusion that their race
is more superior to others; as if you contributed anything to where you belong
to. I hate Racism, what about you?
According
to latest report, THE sledge hammer is up and sport governing body FIFA may
come very hard on German fans for putting on a black face during their
encounter with the black stars of Ghana.
FIFA had on Sunday issued a
statement that it is currently investigating photos of fans wearing blackface
during Germany’s game against Ghana on Saturday.
I didn’t watch
the match because I was busy somewhere; but some of my friends that watched the
match, have come out to say that they saw several German fans who painted their
faces black or wearing white T-shirts with “Ghana” written in black. Is this not
stupidity? Just asking sha!
The words of a
spokeswoman for FIFA told The Guardian thus: “We always take any evidence or
submissions to our disciplinary committee. It is the disciplinary committee
that will meet. If they see any grounds they will open proceedings. Then it is
up to the disciplinary commission to make the decision”.
But, according to a sport writer, FIFA not stopping
these people from entering the stadium, sends a message of indifference towards racism. I just believe FIFA will follow this issue to a logical
conclusion... I hate racism!
