But, why is that some men would
love their house-helps more than their wives? Truth be told, in instances like
this, there is always a foul play on the part of the man. Lol! But, to think
that a man would descend so low to the extent of having an affair with a
house-help is the height of madness. Though, in this particular case, I don’t think
the man is eating double…Lol! But, I rather marry ten times than to have an
affair with a house-help. What de hack? Lol!

Please I would like
you to share my short story with your readers. My husband fights me over our
house help and I sometimes wonder if this is normal. I have never in my life
raised my hand to touch her and the only thing I do is chastise her verbally,
which is not cruelty as far as am concerned. My husband however, thinks
differently as he thinks she can do no wrong.
When I try to correct her, which
doesn’t happen very often because I am someone that overlooks a lot of things,
my husband comes after me and it turns out to be a big fight. I have asked him
severally if he is sleeping with her, and even stylishly asked the girl too,
but both have denied it. I believe strongly that he is not, and I really don’t
want to send her back to her village because getting a house help in Lagos has
become a difficult task.
Nevertheless, can anyone give me
a clue because this sounds and looks strange to me as I strongly feel it is
abnormal for my husband to be picking up fights with me over trivial issues
such as hers? God bears me witness that I do not maltreat her. She eats what
the family eats and lacks nothing.
