The former Minister of the
Federal Capital Territory and the APC governorship candidate in Kaduna state,
Mallam Nasir El Rufai has won the Kaduna state Governorship election.
Mallam El Rufai pulled a total of
1, 117, 635 votes to defeat the incumbent governor and PDP candidate, Alhaji
Mukhtar Ramalan Yero who pulled a total of 485 833 votes.
Reports also said that he has
been congratulated by the incumbent governor Yero of the PDP. #Jonathan-effect!
