Udom Emmanuel of the PDP is the
winner of the governorship poll in Akwa Ibom state, this is according to the
result released by the returning officer in the state.
According to the result, Mr. Udom
pulled a total of 996,071 votes to beat APC’s Umana Okon Umana who pulled
89,865.
We also got the reports that APC
members are protesting massively in the state, and the party has called for cancellation
of the election in the state; inciting cases of irregularities and electoral
malpractices.
