Finally, Maje Ayide Begs Toke Makinwa On Instagram, Says His Action is Indefensible

Ermm…(clears throat), I don’t know if I should start from the beginning or begin from the start…? Anyway, I will look for a way to drop the bombshell. Lol! On January 15, 2014, the news or if you like gossip of talented OAP Makinwa who had a private wedding ceremony with her lover (and fitness trainer) of 8 years Maje Ayida nearly shut down the cyber space. Guess, it was popular blogger Linda Ikeji who first broke the news, then Laila and others.

The way and manner the secret wedding was conducted left much to be desired. But, who cares? Did I tell you guys that I love the wedding gown Toke Makinwa wore on that faithful day? No, I don’t. Yah! All in the name of wedding/wedding gown, the celebrated On Air Personality Toke decided to show off her cleavage. Lol! My eyes went there joor…Lol!

So, recently, gossip from nowhere surfaced that the fitness trainer who is supposedly married to Toke has impregnated his alleged long girlfriend: Anita Solomon…hmm! According to sources, the man kinda denied the whole stuff and even threatened to sue the blogger the whistle-blower…(clears throat again).

Now, what is it that I just read in Vanguard Newspaper this night (or if you like morning), that Maje Ayida has begged his wife Toke Makinwa to forgive him, stating that his action was wrong and indefensible. #Turning-my-eyes

According to Vanguard “On Wednesday, Maje took to his Instagram page to offer his apology and plead for reconciliation with his wife, stressing that he loves his wife and will make every effort to make things right”.

“I am writing to express my sincerest apologies to my wife. I was wrong, it is indefensible and I am sorry. I deeply regret what my wife and my family has had to endure. My behaviour has caused a lot of anguish to everyone. Though this matter has been very public in nature, it is a private issue and I would appreciate the opportunity to face it privately. I love my wife and will make every effort to make things right cc@tokemakinwa,” he posted on Instagram
