·         YELLOW TREND

It’s very surprising to note that Yellow has become trendy. How it became the main colour that has dominated the runway recently remain a big shock to fashion bloggers. Am sure you must have observed with me that this season, above all others, yellow is reigning supreme on local and international runways. Designers like Oscar de la Renta, popped the cheery hue into floor-sweeping evening wear, while Marni offered day wear, sunny-side up. We spotted neon, canary, lemon, mustard- you name it. Yellow is Trendy!

The key to being on-trend here lies less in the silhouette and more in the depth of colour. In short; Ditch the pastels. Go bright or go home. Lol! So you can understand why Trendy Gist Blog is recommending yellow to you as a fashion colour to dazzle men this weekend at that special party.

·         CULOTTE JUMPSUIT

Ladies love jumpsuits! Nothing can be sexier that seeing a lady rocking her jump suite with style. That style this week can be Culottes yah! Culottes! You know one is certain, couture consciousness damsels have come to realized that culotte jump suit could go all out in massaging your ego o the runway and at special event, making you feel like the beautiful lady you are.

I so much agree with fashion blogger Garba Fatima that the culotte jumpsuit is this season’s fashion must-have trending on the fashion radar. Since culotte jumpsuits tend to be voluminous at the bottom, it is always advisable for the top to be fitted to create balance.  Yah! Fatima was right!

·         PRINTED MIDI SKIRTS

I love Midi skirt…it serves my trendy skirt and I will like to marry a lady that does…as long as she didn’t keep it too short. Lol! I hate ladies on short skirts….no apology…lol! Printed Midi Skirts make a damsel feel like Audrey Hepburn or Genevieve Nanji at special occasion. Why not try it out this weeked and you will be glad you did. Garba advises that you should throw one of these chic skirts on, with a plain tee or a top. I think that that is all takes to achieve this trend.

·         KHAKI

I am not the Khaki type, I first wore a Khaki dress, during my NYSC and it was really cool. I remember a friend that starched his…lol! Anyway, Khakia are back no doubt, who doesn’t like cool things. What is not in the last three decades that it first hit the runway? Yet, it has been rejuvenated by those that appreciate the worth.

No doubt, khaki has become a fashion classic, returning this season with a bang. Appearing in various styles for a number of fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren who opted for a safari style glamour.  I recommend Khaki to you as well if really you want took anything trendy.
