Please, people should not play
politics with this insurgency situation in Nigeria. I wonder why and how a
sensible man could claim to be hired to do job for a country as big as Nigeria
when in reality he wasn’t? Na waoh!
Anyway, the Federal Government
has debunked speculation making the rounds that it hired Australian hostage
negotiator Rev. Stephen Davis to negotiate on its behalf for the release of the
abducted Chibok school girls.
The National Information Center
Coordinator Mr. Mike Omeri dropped the hint today in Abuja. The National
Orientation Agency’s Director General Omeiri didn’t miss any word when he
stated that for now no one has been employed to negotiate for the government. He also said that the government is not making
any plans to question anybody based on Stephen Davis allegations.
In his words:
“For
now nobody has been hired by the government to negotiate on its behalf with
Boko Haram. Anytime the government decides to do so, it will make it known to
the public. The government is still investigating the allegations made by
the alleged negotiator. However, the government has no plan to question anybody
because of those allegations made by the Australian”
