Vice President (Administration), of
the Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students (NFCS) Uniport chapter, Sis. Ngozi Lariakawa popularly called Phy-Mariae,
in a chat with Trendy Gist Editor, rolls
out the various activities mapped out for their annual students harvest
celebration.
According to this pretty damsel
who doubles as the Chairperson of the Students Harvest Committee; the harvest promises to be the best among all
the harvests held in the Chapel of the Annunciation, Catholic Chaplaincy, University
of Port Harcourt; due to the various activities put in place to make it
special.
Below is the programme of events:
1: 21st of Sept, we have our football fiesta (rep your club).
We all are expected to put on our jersey to church that day as we represent our
clubs. The highest bidder club goes home with our price.
2: 28th of Sept, we will have our zonal thanksgiving, the geopolitical zone with the highest amount of money goes home with a price.
3. Oct 5th, we will have our prince n princess of the harvest 2014, winners go home with a price, we will also have our mini bazaar sales, trade fare, lots of games, of course, item 7. Lol!
4. Every student is expected to raise a minimum of #2000 with the help of our appeal fund cards.

Meanwhile, Ng a finalist in the
department of Accounting further enjoins all and sundry to actively participate
in the harvest activities, reiterating that the success of this year’s harvest
depends largely on God and on the efforts of every one. In her words: “Play your own role and I will play mine,
then God will bless our efforts. Remember to study your books as you work for
God through Nfcs. God bless you and see us through”.
