Rivers of Crisis!
According to several reports
circulating on social media, there are indications that political thugs
attacked some polling units in Rivers State.
In fact, some news correspondents of Nigeria Info, a popular radio station in Port Harcort, who
monitored the voting exercise also reported pockets of violence, death etc in
their areas of coverage.
The APC Governorship aspirant Dr.
Dakuku Peterside also expressed concern over some incidences of violence in some
parts of the state. The Governor of the state Dr. Rotimi Amaechi in a chat with
news men in his hometown Ubima Ikwere LGA, described the election as sham
citing incidences of violence.
