are doing that; you must have noticed that we are actually applying our
creative ability and ingenuity to reign supreme in the blogsphere. So, check it out, we have fashioned out ways to do
things better, and here we go… the sky is
our limit!
Just recently,
we had an interview with the current Queen
of Trust, Agu Onyeka Maryann
where she opened up on some interesting
aspect of her personal life, how she emerged Miss Trust Africa; the rise to
stardom and her modeling experiences. Interestingly, the soft spoken celebrity
damsel explained that sex is an
important aspect of a relationship, but…? Please, don’t be in a hurry! Lol!
Agu Onyeka Maryann, a 23
year old graduate of Psychology from
the prestigious Imo state University
told us that, how she emerged the Queen
of Trust was so amazing and tough, because she had the opportunity to
contest with lovely ladies from diverse backgrounds, but her carriage, dress sense and composure won
her the crown.
The Enugu
state born Beauty Queen narrated
that though she had passion for modeling, but her very close friend talked her
into contesting for Queen of Trust. She
continued that she was so happy and shocked
that she could emerge the winner of the contest given the caliber of the
contestants and the reputation of the contest.
However,
this Screen Goddess said she did not
share the minority perception that a beauty Queen must sleep her way to the
crown. In her words: “you don’t deserve
the title if you are not responsible enough to keep your legs closed, and open
your brain”.
On the
challenges she met on her way to stardom, the light skinned Diva, explained that at first, her Dad didn’t support the idea of pageantry, but with the help of her Mum; she got their blessings…and her Dad
is now every proud of her.
When I asked
to speak on her pet project, the
ever dazzling young lady succinctly explained that the platform had helped her
reach out to a lot of people, and she’s still on community service and charity
works, because she enjoys putting smiles on people’s faces.
The outgoing
Queen of Trust revealed that Ellen Sirleaf Johnson, the President of Liberia, and the first female black President in Africa is her
role model; because of her strength, courage and resilience. She advised
aspiring models to be of good conduct saying that as a Beauty Queen, you are a
model to other girls, and it’s sometimes choking because any mistake you make
would affect people that look up to you. She echoed: “…you are expected to be perfect which as a human being is not possible”
Finally,
the beautiful, delectable, intelligent,
lovely, ‘figure-eightish’, sumptuous angel cum high class model explained
that Sex is very important in a relationship, though it depends on the persons involved.
In her words: “Sex is an important
aspect of a relationship but depending on the persons and how the both sees it,
and must be done under protection if not married…”
Obviously,
it was not so easy having an interview with this world class Model, and we
sincerely appreciate her for granting us this request; in spite, of her tight schedule and intimidating portfolio. Watch out for another interview next
weekend.
