Davido called himself “Omo Baba
Olowo”, and he’s doing everything to live up to his name. The guy is full of
confidence. Recently, report came out that the National Drug Law Enforcement
Agency (NDLEA) is planning to investigate the pop star’s latest music video “Fans
Mi” featuring Meek Mill. I have watched the video, and if you have done so, you
will agree with me that the video is more or less a negation to morality. The video
flaunted in its extreme sense scantily dressed damsels shaking their butts, and
also projected the glorification of drunkenness. Davido really pushed the
boundaries of decency and morality....
The story line is worse. Davido tires
to seal a deal with a drug dealer to supply drugs? I guess. The dealer handed him
cases of dollars for the transaction, then Davido goes back to his mansion
where he was seen aided by the brassieres and panties flaunting ladies
preparing the product. It was not until the end of the video that we get to see
that the product Davido delivered to the drug dealer was only semovita. Then one
began to wonder, what exactly is he trying to teach his fans who are
predominately youths. That it is ok to make money by engaging in the sale of
illicit drugs? Anyway, that’s by the way…
So today, one of his followers on
social media asked Davido to clarify the issue and he simply responded ‘Nothing’.
Confidence!!! Do you observe the connection…? Lol!
